Our
Culture
Hard work, yes
but with a balanced approach
The culture at FPI is almost as important as
the way in which we do business with our customers. We work hard,
but we also recognize that our talented pool of aggressive, smart
staff is more important to our customers' success than our products
are.
That is why we may be a little irreverent here
at FPI. We have a ping pong table, for example, so we can blow
off steam once in a while. Our CEO sponsors an annual St. Paddy's
Day bash and we serve popcorn every afternoon at 3 p.m.
But none of this detracts from the FPI mission.
We've built a successful technology staff of
people who are both topflight technologists and "people friendly."
Attracting and retaining this kind of talent pool is critical
to our success and a major reason why we're so focused on our
corporate culture.
Thanks to a creative management team, an enthusiastic
staff and an aggressive vision for staying on the cutting edge
of technology and customer service, FPI proves that a company
can experience a high level of business success and enjoy the
work that we do.
Communication is the key
Why has FPI achieved so much success in such
a short time? Probably because we believe that superior communication
drives performance. Management teams run regularly scheduled meetings
that feature opinion sharing and dialogue from everyone at the
table.
Company-wide, no one is left in the dark regarding
policies, initiatives and constructive critiques of systems and
procedures. When everyone is in the loop and informed, surprises
rarely occur.
FPI believes that informed employees are more productive. The same principles of frequent, open-minded and candid
communications are carried over to all relationships with Farm
Credit associations, too.
FPI is not all about technology. We are
a people business.
