FPI next generation of software
BASIS™ was our first generation branch delivery
system. A fully integrated system, BASIS offered associations a single
source for inputting and maintaining all loan information, from
marketing to loan origination and continuing through loan management.
Today, EmPOWER™, our next generation loan origination and
servicing system, is bringing the best of FPI's BASIS and Northwest Farm Credit Service's ILO™
systems together. Our new system is built on the Microsoft .NET technology platform.
EmPOWER takes the
two proven current systems to the next level by "EmPOWERING"
associations with even more flexibility in how they deliver their
services. Associations are able to configure systems to match
their workflow styles and to focus on the most efficient ways to
perform marketing, credit origination, credit servicing, portfolio
management and financial services delivery and management.
The bottom
line is this: The best is getting better as we migrate BASIS and ILO
to our new "best-of-breed" integrated system.

Fully-integrated software systems
Most software developers have a vision of providing
fully integrated systems. That is, fully functioning systems where
all components in the network communicate with each other. But very
few organizations actually accomplish this mission.
FPI is one organization that has.
We did it with BASIS, our first generation branch
delivery system. And we are hard at work developing the
next generation, a comprehensive upgrade that helps make management
of an association's credit and financial services business faster,
easier and more dependable than ever.
With FPI systems, you enter data once, and the
data is immediately accessible throughout the network (subject to
security requirements). For example, if you enter a prospect's name
in CreditSmart, our loan origination system, his or her name will be "populated" in
all systems — credit analysis, loan accounting, management
reporting and customer demographics. When the prospect becomes an
association customer, there is no need to reenter the name.
Of course, all systems are modernized to
live in harmony with the next generations of technology infrastructure,
such as Windows 2000 and Microsoft® .NET.
